Saturday is winter solstice.
The darkest night of the year, an invitation to reflect on the lessons provided & appreciate the growth that partnered with the process. It’s time to gracefully release what no longer serves you. As the light returns to the days we invite the light of our hearts to also increase.
This is a period when we support our path into the next season by setting intentions to renew & nurture.
It’s time to ask…
Where will I increase light?
What will I nurture?
Who will I extend my light to?
Why is this important to me?
How will my thoughts & actions reflect the light I am ready to receive & give?
In the near future give yourself the gift of time in silence. As you contemplate these questions, witness the feelings & thoughts without judgement. Allow yourself to put pen to paper & let the answers flow. It’s not a time to over-think. This is an offering to care for yourself, your path, your dreams. Allow yourself to be honest & write without force. Let your instincts prompt your truth.
It is a time to celebrate you, us, this Earth, & Spirit in this wonderful winter solstice.
A Native American Winter Solstice Blessing
May you find peace in the promise of the solstice night.
That each day forward is blessed with more light.
That the cycle of nature, unbroken & true,
Brings faith to your soul & well-being to you.
Rejoice in the darkness, in the silence find rest,
And may the days that follow be abundantly blessed.
